EASTER

Hudson celebrated his first Easter and loved the eggs! They are similar in shape to balls...which he loves to chase around. He had a cute duckie basket that did not lend itself to much in size. However, for his first Easter, it was perfect. He wasn't really sure what it was all about, but pulled out each item and examined/played with it. Here are a few snapshots...
When he first got the basket...he wasn't sure what to do. We had to start to pull the things out for him to understand that he could do that too. He was happy for some new toys.
He got a new bath book for bath time. He liked his cloth book...great to chew on. As you can see the eggs were his favorite. I think he would have been just as happy with a basket filled with empty Easter eggs.
Some keys that has since been a favorite noise maker! Passed out after lunch. Playing with more Easter eggs...girly colored ones.

Poor guy...I thought the ears were SO CUTE on him...so he put up with them quite often. Trying hard to see what is on his head. Shaking them off...he was successful!
He got them off...and there was much rejoicing! Smiling with Aunt Whit.

Who you callin' crabby?

Hudson is such a happy little boy! We are so blessed! However, he can work his bottom lip like no other! Here is an example...these are taken over short time period.
Here he is happy, while playing with his toys. He pulled items out of his changing basket. I took the Aquaphor away so he wouldn't eat it...he was not happy about that.
The pacifier made it better instantly."Who you callin' crabby?"

MMMMMM...Grown-Up Food!

Hudson has begun to discover that we eat different foods than he does. He has a new found desire to try our foods too...which I'm reluctant to let happen. Here are a few of his attempts.
I had a BombPop from the ice cream man...and Hudson thought he should have it. I gave him a taste of the tart lime part. He was so excited at the opportunity, but made a hilarious face after his taste.
He was eager for the Chic-Fil-A bag...even though it was empty.
But the bag was just as tasty!
He didn't really have the pop-pop, but he likes to chew on the cold.Trying to get Aunt Whit's Chips Ahoy...no such luck.

Growing up...

I have been very slack lately...haven't posted in over 3 months...but I'm back! I'm going back in time to fill in gaps since my last post before filling in what our summer has been filled with.

Hudson has grown up so much and was meeting all sorts of milestones in April. He really began to enjoy his toys. Was on the move EVERYWHERE with a loud army crawl. I enjoyed being able to hear where he was at all times. Here are a few pictures to remember these times.

"Driving" his car.
Loves it!
Sitting at the bar like a big boy.
Playing with his toys.
He dragged the basketball hoop under the frog to play.

He got my purse and tried hard to empty it.Getting ready for Easter with the bunny ears. He loves to pretend feed himself with an empty bowl and spoon.

He presses his face against the glass of the TV center, coffee table and back door. It cracks us up!
